Work (if you have a chance to choose your working place)
  • choose a working environment where stress levels are as low as possible and where a familiar social interaction amongst colleagues is welcome
  • where you have to work hard anyways
  • with a good income (in order to keep your energy resources balanced you need to feel that you have enough material resources)

That’s because of our reward system in our brains. Since your sensuality is highly developed you can easily become an addict to sensual pleasures. That might cause addictions on the one hand but also depression on the other since nothing appears to be able to bring enough pleasure. In order to keep your reward system in balance you thus have to work hard first, so you can be able to enjoy in the following.

That is a relict from times when we were Hunters and Gatherers and it was not self-evident to always have sufficient food available. The accumulation of fat depots “for eventual times of needs or famine” was necessary. Especially in times of danger.

Since we live in a very loud, bright and hectic world there are a lot of signals which deceive our body into thinking we are endangered. As a result, you release hormones which signal that you need more fat deposits for worse times. Thus in order to manage your energy household you have to challenge yourself physically.

There will be a significant change in your emotional state if you start embracing the slow pace of Taurus in your every day life and distance yourself from the external stress! Your energy will sublime into pure enjoyment.
