Compatibility – Aries Moon The most important part of a birth chart is the Moon placement since the Moon Sign is the Sign of the soul. Thus, when it comes to the compatibility of Signs, it is much more important to compare the Moon Signs than the Sun Signs. However, when it comes to love, Venus Signs and Mars Signs also play a huge role. Compatibility of Aries Moon and Aries Moon When both Moons are in the same Sign, they can be considered soulmates. I know four couples with this placement. It is actually incredible, since these eight people are the only ones I know with an Aries Moon placement in general and all of them somehow managed to find another Aries Moon to be in an intimate relationship with. Plus Only these two understand the impulsive, active and rough energy, which initiates their expressive way to act. Even though fights emerge abruptly and can even get aggressive, both sides don’t ever hold grudges and cool down quickly. In a way, their fighting is like detoxing. Their boisterous fighter’s spirit is the most uncomplicated energy in a relationship because both sides react directly expressing their needs. Also, both parties have a strong sense for their ego and put great value on their personal freedom. Thus, they don’t limit the self-realization of their partner. They have the same needs when it comes to their daily life and a similarly high energy level. To keep this energy alive, adrenaline is the cue – for example, through jointed activities like bouldering, surfing, hiking, sky diving. Minus It can get difficult, if both are too self-centered and unwilling to make compromises. Then the relationship might fade into the background. Compatibility of Aries Moon and Taurus Moon These two are strong together, though Aries is a Fire Sign and Taurus an Earth sign. This combination of Elements is usually not considered to be very fertile. In a way, these two Moon Signs symbolize the Original Man (Aries – Hunter) and the Original Woman (Taurus – Gatherer). Figuratively, Aries inseminates Taurus with his semen in an ecstatic rush. Thus, he initiates the process, whereas Taurus makes the growth happen by persistently completing the unfinished business of Aries. However, their horns can get in each other’s way. They are stubborn because of different reasons though. Aries usually just wants to win the power tussle. Taurus is stubborn because his mind is a little inflexible. Therefore, he usually needs more time to adjust to new developments, because of his need for security and stability. As long as one of them is open to adapt once in a while, the stubbornness shouldn’t be a problem. Both Signs are emotionally strong and stable – Taurus more than Aries. Thus, Taurus is able to ground Aries and Aries, on the other hand, is able to mobilize slow Taurus. Since Taurus isn’t easily flappable and not particularly vulnerable, he also is able to tolerate the impulsive mood swings of Aries. Also, Taurus has a similarly strong sense of self and his necessities. If they learn to compromise, they are a perfect match. Compatibility of Aries Moon and Gemini Moon Aries and Gemini are very much alike when it comes to their high energy levels. They both have a constant urge to stay active and on the light/uncomplicated side of life. These two can have the most sparkling, enthusiastic and adventurous life together. Gemini is an Air Sign, whereas Aries is a Fire Sign. Air is the element which inflames Fire which means that those Signs energize each other. Moreover, Aries teaches Gemini decisiveness and concentration, whereas Gemini broadens the intellectual horizon of Aries. Together, these Signs are big on socializing, and sporting activities. As perfect as this combination might be, the indecisiveness and lack of direction can be frustrating to Aries at times. Still, this pairing is as good as it gets. Compatibility of Aries Moon and Cancer Moon These two can have a destructive impact on each other since Cancer is highly sensitive and takes everything personally, whereas Aries often acts impulsively. Thus, Aries can brand the Cancer Moon soul deeply. Also, holds grudges and tends to victimize himself. In turn, Aries might not understand why everything has to be as complicated, and somewhat indistinct with Cancer. The lack of clarity derives from the difference in the reaction time span of Aries and Cancer. While Aries reacts immediately and forgets quickly, Cancer builds up the hurt and usually reacts only days later. The cue to this relationship is the comprehension of their differences. Both sides have to be ready to make compromises. If Aries learns to channel his aggressive energy elsewhere and to be more sensitive, his initiative energy can be highly conducive to Cancer – motivating him to exploit his full creative potential. On the other hand, if the Cancer Moon learns to be less vulnerable, has enough room to regenerate and gives Aries enough space to self-realize, Aries can profit a lot from the Cancer energy. Then Aries can learn to be more sensitive and susceptible to the needs of others. Also, the Cancer energy is able to broaden the emotional horizon of Aries. Compatibility of Aries Moon and Leo Moon This is a pairing, which often appears in the world of celebrities. Monica Bellucci and Vincent Cassel, Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova are some examples for this combination. Both are Fire Signs. Thus, they have similiarly expressive energy. Still, Leo is not nearly as uncomplicated as Aries when it comes to relationships. Leo is proud and hurts easily when Aries does not fulfill his claim to admiration. Also, Leo is much lazier than Aries and enjoys a luxurious life more than an adventurous life. In general, this combination of Signs can be glorious, since both Signs are similarly passionate, hot-tempered, self-centered and energetic. If Aries enjoys to admire Leo and Leo doesn’t demand too much attention from Aries, it is an excellent combination. But there can be quite some power tussles since both are dominant -always aspiring to gain the upper hand. Compatibility of Aries Moon and Virgo Moon Although these two Signs have very different tempers, they do get along. I don’t quite know why though – since Virgo can get quite critical and nagging if something doesn’t go her way. Since her way entails perfection, there can be numerous minefields in this relationship. Virgo has to plan ahead for the future, whereas Aries lives in the here and now – unwilling to be limited. Also, he is less conservative than Virgo and doesn’t put as much value on the validation of society. If Virgo accepts and appreciates this free spirit of Aries, this combination enriches both sides. Then Virgo learns to be more spontaneous and Aries less so. If that isn’t the case, the relationship can also feel restrictive to Aries – especially when Virgo tries to restrain and control the vigor of Aries or even limit his freedom for her own purposes. Also, the sober nature of the Virgo Moon can frustrate the boisterous Aries. On the other hand, this controlled facade of the Virgo Moon can showcase the exciting challenge to awaken her passionate side, which exists without a doubt – somewhere carefully hidden away under the surface. Despite all their differences, the two make it work according to my experiences – at least when it comes to friendships. Compatibility of Aries Moon and Libra Moon Aries and Libra are the exact opposites of each other. As the Sign of war, Aries reacts directly, decisively and honestly; always has his own needs in mind. Libra (Sign of Peace), however, reacts much later – after weighing all points of views by keeping everyone’s needs in mind. Because those Signs are so different, they can learn by far the most from each other. On the other hand, they can frustrate each other the most as well. That’s because Libra usually prefers diplomacy, conceals her thoughts behind a smiling mask and gossips behind her partner’s back. Aries, however, hates it when people don’t just clearly articulate what they want, think and need. To understand and distinguish her own needs, however, is the most difficult thing for considerate Libra. On the other hand, there is great potential in this particular conflict, since Aries can tease out a more distinct sense of “self” from Libra. The opposite can happen also since Aries can simply take advantage of Libra’s high adaptability for his own purposes. But Libra is not a helpless Sign since it knows best how to manipulate her opponent into taking care of her needs also – as unclear as they might be. Moreover, Libra can teach Aries a fair amount of consideration, tact, and diplomacy. Though these Signs complement each other, it still might be a highly stressful pairing. Compatibility of Aries Moon and Scorpio Moon These two Signs are actually quite similar – though Aries is a Fire Sign and Scorpio a Water Sign. Scorpio understands the base motivations of Aries better than anyone since he is connected to them consciously. This is the main difference between the two Signs because Scorpio has a strong connection between his own basic urges and the controlling centers of the brain. These connections make him particularly forceful. He has the power to manipulate Aries since he sees through him and knows everything about him. Also, Scorpio has to stay in control and power at all times, which can feel restrictive to the free-spirited and unrestrained Aries Moon, who wants to remain the upper hand himself. The possessive tendency of Scorpio can make this connection an extremely sexually charged and passionate one, but also a challenging one. Compatibility of Aries Moon and Sagittarius Moon This is a pairing made in heaven. Both are impulsive, active, expressive and honest. Those signs can inflame each other to experience the craziest adventures. Passion and laughter burst quickly with those two, but at the same time personal freedom stays the priority. Thus, it is not always a pairing, that’s longlasting since both parties can be too involved with their own lives, don’t tend to make plans for the future and usually don’t engage in a dull everyday life. Also, the hasty and intense display of affection of Sagittarius can scare off the self-preserving Aries Moon. But when the content of the lives of those two Signs intersects, they are unbeatable together. With their jointed energy, they can actually rule the world – especially when both carriers of this placement are activists or work on a communal project together such as founding an NGO, shooting a movie or traveling the world exploring numerous cultures. Compatibility of Aries Moon and Capricorn Moon In this combination, both Signs have incredible will power and ambition. They are not afraid to force through their needs and usually get what they aimed for. The difference is: Aries acts on impulse, whereas Capricorn is a controlled strategizer. Capricorn has to remain in control of the situation and plan ahead for the future, whereas Aries lives in the here and now – unwilling to be limited in his freedom. Also, he is less conservative than the Capricorn Moon and doesn’t put as much value on the validation of society. If Capricorn accepts and appreciates this free spirit of Aries, this is a powerful and productive combination. If that isn’t the case, however, this can also be a restrictive one. Especially when Capricorn tries to restrain and control the vigor of Aries or even limit his freedom for his own purposes. Also, both Signs have horns which can be challenging, too since both are stubborn people. But if they manage to overcome these challenges, they can implement enormous changes in the world (as seen in the former power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie). Compatibility of Aries Moon and Aquarius Moon This match is almost as perfect as the combination of Gemini and Aries since it is a combination of Air and Fire again. Thus, the Air Sign Aquarius inflames the Fire Sign Aries – making the connection an incredibly exciting one, if both signs aim to go in the same direction. Aries can get frustrated though, because of the lack of challenge. It is a stable partnership with a lot of activity and emotional simplicity, but not always a very passionate one. Other placements in the birth chart can contradict this statement – especially if the placements of Venus and Mars are in passionate Signs. Aquarius has a lot of patience for the outbursts of Aries, because of his basically stoical nature, but this can bore the Aries Moon who doesn’t dread the occasional fight/challenge/friction. The lack of friction can cause a lack of passion, which actually is toxic for the wild temper of Aries. Compatibility of Aries Moon and Pisces Moon These two are the least similar amongst the Zodiac Signs. Aries is the Sign which symbolizes the beginning, whereas Pisces is the Sign which symbolizes the end. It is unlikely for outgoing, athletic, wild and direct Aries to understand why Pisces has to escape from everything which in turn energizes Aries. Both Signs can easily get bored with each other. Pisces with the shimmering, complex emotional life and an inspired mind, can feel as though he crushes against a wall when communicating with primal and crude Aries. In turn, energetic, dynamic and courageous Aries can feel dragged down and confused in a way by the escapist Pisces – unless the Aries Moon has a Pisces or Cancer Sun. Pisces can not give Aries the action, which fiery Aries requires to lead his adventurous life. On the other hand, these two can also be profoundly fascinated by each other. They can learn a lot also. Since Aries is the Sign of the “self”, Aries can support the Pisces in finding and defining a “self” and since Pisces is the sign of selflessness, Pisces can make Aries less egotistical. Still, it won’t be easy for these two Signs to give each other what they need. If there aren’t other clear connections in the birth charts, it is a very unlikely pairing.
